Return Policy
30-Day Returns
At Modern Ambition, we want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are unhappy with an item you have purchased, you have 30 days from the in-store purchase date or for online orders, within receiving your order shipped confirmation email to request a Return or Exchange. Each order qualifies for one free shipping label, on either a Return or Exchange. For online purchase returns, get started by clicking the 'Return/Exchange Items' button below.
Price Adjustments
We are happy to accommodate a one-time price adjustment for an item if it goes on permanent markdown within 14 days of your order’s purchase date. A refund or price difference will be issued back to the original form of payment. Price adjustments will not be accommodated for any items that are part of flash sales, short-term campaigns, Black Friday, Cyber Monday or Boxing Week events. Price adjustments will not be made for final sale items or previously discounted items.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of in-store purchase (the date on your printed or emailed receipt) or receiving your order shipped confirmation email for online orders.
- Exchanges must be placed in the mail within 5 business days of receiving your shipping label for online orders.
- Exchanges are accepted on items in their original condition (unworn and unwashed, with tags still attached).
- Exchanges can only be done for the SAME item in a different size or color. Please view our Fit & Tailoring Guide to find out how our styling fits your body type.
- If you'd like to Exchange for a different item, a refund will be made, and a new order should be placed.
- Exchanges are accepted on previously exchanged items; however, shipping is only free for the first online order Exchange.
- The 30-day threshold resets when an exchanged item is shipped back to you.
- Exchanges will only be accepted when shipped with an authorized Modern Ambition shipping label
- Each online order qualifies for one free shipping label (for additional Exchanges, Standard Ground Shipping will be charged to the customer).
Returns
- Please note, we cannot accept returns for international orders (outside continental North America) at this time and those items are considered final sale.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of in-store purchase (the date on your printed or emailed receipt) or receiving your order shipped confirmation email for online orders.
- Returns must be placed in the mail within 5 business days of receiving your shipping label for online orders.
- Returns are accepted on all regular priced and select sale items (NOT Final Sale) in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags still attached).
- Local Returns for online orders: For your convenience you may return your item(s) directly to a Modern Ambition store, after you receive your Return Authorization number (RMA) by submitting your request through our return portal here. *Important: Your return must still include a print-out of your emailed shipping label along with the items in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags still attached). Also be aware, any refunds or exchanges will not be processed at that same time. We will process the return in the same manner (within 2 business days) as all of our online customers.

Final Sale Items
- In the event of a sale, Final Sale items are clearly marked 'Final Sale' with a link / pop-up of our Return Policy on each product page of applicable Final Sale items.
- Final Sale items are not refundable, exchangeable, eligible for price adjustments nor eligible for credit.
- Orders placed in countries outside of continental North America are considered final sale.
Shipping & Delivery
- Please allow up to 2 business days for processing before your order ships.
- Returns/Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order shipped confirmation email.
- Returns/Exchanges must be placed in the mail within 5 business days of receiving your shipping label.
- Each order qualifies for one free shipping label (Standard Ground Shipping on additional Returns/Exchanges will be charged to the customer).
- Items can be shipped back in the original Modern Ambition shipping bag, they're designed to be reused.
- The 30-day threshold resets when an exchanged item is shipped back to you.
- Returns and Exchanges will only be accepted when shipped with an authorized Modern Ambition shipping label
Refunds
It can take up to 5 business days for funds to be transferred and the transaction to appear on your bank or credit card statement.
In-Store Credit
In-store merchandise credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Gift with Purchase Promotion
During any 'Gift With Purchase' promotion, the free item is yours to enjoy. However, if you decide to return any of your purchased items, you MUST return the 'free gift' as well, otherwise the full retail value of the 'free gift' will be deducted from your refund along with any associated return shipping charges.
Minimum Purchase Based Thresholds
If you received a discount based on a minimum order requirement (BOGO, $99 minimum etc.) and wish to return items resulting in your order value dropping below the minimum, your purchase will no longer qualify for the discount and the value of your credit/discount will be deducted from your refund.
Affiliated Retailer Purchases
Returns or exchanges from other affiliated retail stores carrying Modern Ambition products will not be accepted at modernambition.com. This is at the sole discretion of the retailer.
